    with tmpg i take an avi and convert it to vcd..unfortunately, with some avi's, it appears that the video stops..but the uadio continues...does anyone know how to fix this problem?

    Use Vdub and remove the bad frames.

    i cant use vdub becauseof the patent of microsofts on asf's
