  1. Hi,

Im quite new to this so you will have to bear with me while i try to xplain the issue im having.
basicly i used makemkv to creat a .mkv of the film The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo now i then run it through handbrake on the high profile and just pass through the audio.

I have created over 30 files this way and all are good in sync and good quality, however no matter what i do the .mkv of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo seems to be badly out of sync and it also seems that they are not speaking english can any one who has sen the film confim this?

ok so even the "Source .mkv made from with makemkv is the same so it isnt handbrake! here's a dump from mediainfo can any see any issues?

The original film is in Swedish.

There is probably a dubbed version, which would be an alternate soundtrack on a DVD or BD.

  3. This is a retail BD Version of the film i have backed up!! just out of intrest if i run the source .mkv through mkvmerge will this solve any audio issies there normaly?

  4. Of course they're not speaking English because, as AlanHK says, it's a Swedish film. The BD has both languages but no one in their right mind would want to watch it with the dub track. You can always wait for the inferior Hollywood remake of it to watch it in English.

  6. I don't work with MKVs but if it doesn't have any way to set a delay when muxing, then find out the delay and get rid of it entirely using DelayCut. Then mux again, this time using the fixed AC3 audio.
