Hi
Hope someone can help. I am sure this must be the most newbie question asked.
I am hoping to burn a dvd I recorded on my HD camcorder to a DVD disc, that would play in the USA and UK etc.
So I think it needs to be region free? is that the same as NTSC and Pal compatible?
I will be burning using Nero and I am not sure if it just does this automatically fo rme?
Thanks for any help

All home made dvds are region free.
PAL and NTSC is different video standards, see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:PAL-NTSC-SECAM.svg and the dvd differences https://www.videohelp.com/dvd#tech
Best would be to make NTSC for US and PAL for UK. But if you just want to make one DVD would I use NTSC as most european players/tvs supports both standards.
