Sonik Data DVD+R DL ---- CRAP!!!!!!!

I recently pick up a 25 pack of these disks from a computer store that was going out of business for $6.00 Canadian.

The worst waste of $6.00 I ever spent.

After trying 7 of these disks, burnt with IMGburn at 2.4x to 4x, I got 7 coasters. Each failed at the layer break. I even tried burning one as a single layer disk (a video file about 3.5gb) and the crap disk would not finalize.

The media code is: CMC MAG D03

So. DON"T even think of buying this crap. Hell, even the pack of Memorex DL's (Ritek S04 066) that I have will burn with no problems using IMGburn at 2.4x and 4x.

Regor21 - We say here ALL THE TIME not to buy any DL media but Verbatim DVD+R DL. Ritek is crap too. Let us know if those discs still play in a few more years.
