Sony Vegas Pro 9.0 + EacyCap DC60?

The ULead sofware that came with my EasyCap makes my computer run slow and often results in the program not responding, but Sony Vegas pro 9.0 runs very smoothly on my computer. However, when i try to use the 'Capture' application in Sony Vegas, it gives me an error message. (below) I've exited all of the ULead programs and ended all processes associated with it, and uninstalled and reinstalled Sony Vegas, but i get the same message every time. It would be great if i could actually capture video with the EasyCap without the program freezing.

afaik vegas only captures over firewire not usb.

Methinks the problem is not the software - Ulead usually works quite well - but your hardware.

USB is always competing with all the other equipment you have attached to this interface. Try disconnecting the ones you do not need.

Use the EasyCap with VirtualDub.
