svcd to vcd

wasnt there a way to convert an svcd to a vcd without encoding, I think it was with tmpgenc??? because my dvd player doesnt support svcd .
someone let me know...thanks

i mat be wrong but i dont think theres way to convert a svcd to vcd with out encoding. for svcd 2 vcd i use dvd2avi to frameserve the svcd for tmpge.

I think he is probably referring to the method of re-multiplexing an SVCD as a non-standard videoCD in TMPGEnc, which has been discussed a number of times in other threads. It is a very unreliable hack, but if you want to pursue it, I suggest the very handy search function.
