I am new to this. I purchased Quicktime Pro 7 so I could retrieve a mov from Youtube but when I hit open URL in Quicktime Pro, it gives me the following message: Error 47: Invalid URL. Can anyone explain or point me to a forum that does explain how to get the video from youtube to my harddrive? I try searching all forums with different questions but I can't find my answer. Thanks in advance

I would guess that the link is dead (Invalid URL)..
Nothing to do with your purchase of Quicktime Pro7

Yep, unless things have changed since google bought it, YouTube use flv. Sorenson Spark video and mp3 audio in particular.

  5. Yes, YouTube uses flv format. Retrieve it from you temporary internet folder and convert that flv file to other formats. One program available is free flv converter.
