    I'm trying to open mpeg2enc binary to install ffmpegX but it's a text file.
    Does anybody know how to solve this problem?
    Macintosh G5/1.8, MacOS 10.5.8.
    Thanks for any help I can get.

    Don't worry about the file appearing as a text file. The installer will correct that. Just use it as-is.
