  1. I did a VHS to DVD transfer and I want to clean up the video a little while I convert to Xvid AVI. I loaded the MPEG2 video into VDubMod, apply deinterlace, sharpen, saturation bump up and a some temporal smoothing... I wanted to frameserve this out to AutoGK but AutoGK doesn't see any video from the frameserver... I tested the frameserving in TMPGEnc and it works there no problem. Does anyone know if AutoGK able to be frameserved ? I know about AVISynth, but I just wanted to use VDubMod for the quick and easy filtering. Thanks... Z

  2. No, you can't frameserve into AutoGK. Why can't you just encode to XviD using VDubMod?

Or, as an alternative, save your VDubMod filtering as a lossless AVI (Lagarith, HuffYUV), and when done open that in AutoGK. A wasted extra step though, if you ask me.
