I've been using 5.1.6 on a 32-bit Vista machine with no issues, but might have to switch to something compatible with 64-bit system.
I tried installing 5.1.6 on a Windows 7 64-bit machine but it just hangs and with the encoding dialogue box open. Some other non-official builds I tried will show a torrent of errors like "consumed 2635 out of 2650 bytes". I've tried the all the Video > Decoding settings to no avail.
This had led me to with 6.0 which will run fine one Windows 7 64-bit, however...
Does anyone know where the selection/setting for 2-pass encoding has gone in 6.0? Nowhere in the settings or condec config could I find the option for specifying the number of encoding passes.
And also, I'm having audio/video sync issues with 6.0 on Windows 7 64-bit. Anyone with similar experience?
Thanks in advance.
