  1. I have just installed my new bluray writer and have a couple of bluray disks everything is working fine except when i click on the drive itself to browse the files i keep getting this message "Windows cannot read from this disk the disk might be corrupted or using a format that is not compatible with windows".

I am using windows XP service pack 3, i am thinking that something might need to be upgraded but not sure what, so if anyone has seen this and knows what the prob might be please let me know.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Can you PLAY the discs? I assume that's what you mean by "everything's working fine."
Also, blu-ray and avchd discs use UDF 2.5, and XP doesn't have native drivers for that format. Try UDF Reader.

Last case, if it's a commercial disc, it's likely encrypted
