Is there a way to do this?? I want to rip various scenes from movies (that are anamorphic widescreen) and have them play as anamorphic when I burn them back to dvd-r. When I do it now I am getting the movies in 4:3 letterbox. The aspect ratio is correct, but they are non-anamorphic.
How can I do this???
I sed Smartripper to rip the scenes and Spruce DVDMaestro to author the disc.
Thanks!!!

SpruceUp doesn't support 16:9 (or 352 x 480) - The thing to do is to author the disk anyway, then use IFOEdit on the IFO files to change the video from 4:3 to 16:9 (or 720 x 480 to 352 x 480).
Then just burn the stuff to a DVD - it seems to work fine (I don't have a 16:9 TV, but I burned a full-screen anamorphic DVD and my player plays it back letterboxed properly, so I assume it will work properly with a 16:9 TV).
