I've searched the forums (maybe I'm not seeing it) - but I have various files (wmv, mpg, avi) that I'd like to convert to Video TS folders or similar so that I can then burn them to a DVD R to play on a regular DVD Player. Some of the apps I have are no longer working or in use. Thanks for any and all help!

Make sure you have Perian installed. Then MPEG Streamclip, Submerge, QT Player (Pro) can convert to AIC (Apple Intermediate Codec) which adds the least amount of transcoding artifacts. Then drop into iDVD.

    Alternative: Roxio Toast.

Others will chime in with their favorites. I don't burn much to DVD any more as I use an AppleTV (and, occasionally, a WD TV Media Player).

I have been running Snow Leopard since it came out and VisualHub works fine. No problem at all.
