    Hi--
I'm making a DVD with the Authoring Works 4. The audio track is Dolby 5.1 and has a bitrate of 640kb/s. When I ran the simulation, I got an error saying that the bitrate was invalid. I assume that means that the rate is too high.

    Am I correct?

If so, is there an easy way to reduce the bitrate to something that Authoring Works can use and maintain the 5.1 audio?
If not, how do I correct the error?

    Thanks!

Dvd max bitrate for dolby digital is 448kbps. Try eac3to to downconvert to 448. Or tsmuxer should be able to. You have a bluray or hddvd audio source there and that won't work without conversion on a dvd project.
