    was looking at FCP 7 and then noticed FCP studio. Are they the same thing?? They seem to cost the same. Apples site is very ambiguous.

    Addendum: So the "Studio" is a suite of apps which include FCP 7 ?? is that right? Odd that they cost the same. :'(

    yes and yes. FCP Studio is the umbrella for all of Apple's Video Pro apps,
    FCP 7 is the NLE app, one part of the umbrella.
