  1. Hi everyone,

I have converted a .rm video to .avi, now the .avi is out of sync. Could someone be kind to provide a step-by-step solution on solving this problem.

Another funny thing is it's a TV series. Some episodes are perfectly in sync both before and after conversion. Some are in sync before conversion, but out of sync after. Why?

    input: rm video
output: avi video (has to be avi)
    software used: any video converter
problem: after converting, first half of the video is still in sync, but second half is out of
sync - audio is a few seconds before video.
need: a step-by-step solution on fixing this problem

    Thank you all in advance!

    Eric

The usual method in a case like this is to split the avi at the point where it goes out,
then work on the bad part only. Something like virtualdub can rewrite the audio and video
as-is, but offset the sound to make them line up.

Once the bad part is fixed, you should be able to rejoin the pieces.

If the problem is after the conversion, just try another converter.
