  1. I'm under windows 2000.

Is there a way to install and register a codec if I don't have the administrator priviledges?

My admin doesn't want to install the codec on all the machines, but I have the DLL, I just can't register it. It is frustrating.

I'm using the AVI VFW interface to access to the video frames.

    thanks for any help!

  3. Find the source code for a virus that can escalate itself from user to admin privileges, then modify the code so that the codec gets installed and registered. Then watch your ass get fired.
