I'm under windows 2000.
Is there a way to install and register a codec if I don't have the administrator priviledges?
My admin doesn't want to install the codec on all the machines, but I have the DLL, I just can't register it. It is frustrating.
I'm using the AVI VFW interface to access to the video frames.
thanks for any help!
Martin

they tell me this can't be done, especially because it's part of an admins privileges .... i wanted the same thing, but yah. Looking for subtitles of: Höök tt0997023, Lime tt0269480, La clé sur la porte tt0077348. tt=iMDb.com Found Desideria tt0081724 subtitle! :-)

Find the source code for a virus that can escalate itself from user to admin privileges, then modify the code so that the codec gets installed and registered. Then watch your ass get fired.
