I used Vob Blanker to remove ads from a DVD I had shrunk with DVDShrink, worked fine. Played the DVD folder in vlc without a problem, but when I tried to burn it to a DVD, I get an error that there is no valid DVD file

    What app says that?

Maybe try burn the video_Ts folder with something else like imgburn and see if it works.

  3. 1-It is better if you remove the ads first then shrink it. If you have to compress more than 90% use dvd rebuilder it will look much better.
2- When you Burn a dvd in the root of the dvd you must have a folder called VIDEO_TS all in caps and optional AUDIO_TS. All your VOB's and files should be in VIDEO_TS folder.
