If you are just using Shrink to rip from the DVD, that won't work on many newer DVDs. Shrinks ripping program hasn't been updated in a very long time. Use DVDFab Decrypter or AnyDVD first and that should solve your problem.

    And welcome to our forums.

redwudz is correct, but if you want more info...
Basically some newer DVDs use a type of copy protection that involves having bad sectors deliberately placed on the DVD to thwart programs like DVD Shrink from working. The most common form of this protection is known as ARCCOS, but there may be others. DVD Shrink's author abandoned the program years ago when he was hired to work for Nero and the last version was released prior to ARCCOS coming out. ARCCOS is mostly used in the USA and only some studios use it. It costs money and some studios won't pay for it as it can still be defeated by programs like AnyDVD and DVDFab Decrypter. Now here's the issue. DVDFab and AnyDVD have to pay programmers to make changes all the time because ARCCOS constantly changes. So any time there is a major release by Sony or Disney (they are the biggest users, but there are other companies that use ARCCOS too) DVDFab and AnyDVD may have to be updated. DVDFab has a free version but it trails the current pay version by 6 months. So if you want to use the free version you are welcome to do so, but it may not be able to decrypt some DVDs that were released after the free version's code release date. If you pay for DVDFab, they update it all the time and usually you just have to wait a week or two before it can decrypt your new DVD.
