  1. Greetings All,
    Simple and probably silly question,
To any and all who have used DVD-Fab to convert/encode their video.

Can you tell me if it is detremental to the quality of the conversion if I allow the conversion to take place in the background as I continue to work on other things on my computer?

    OR

Should I shut down anything possible on the system and allow DVD-Fab to have exclusive rights to all resources and be the only thing running?

As stated above, never had issues while multi-tasking. One reason multi-cores came to be. Am doing so as I write.

  4. Kewl Kewl,
Thanks Much for the input guys! I was always thinking out of sync Audio and Video may have been caused by people multi-tasking while encoding. I just wanted to make sure before I set this thing to do the first run of conversions.

  5. You can push that too far. I once tried doing a re-encode using BDRB and an HD capture (using HD-PVR) at the same time. Bad idea, got a blue screen and both jobs were buggered. BDRB was running at idle priority, BTW. I can surf or do non-cpu intensive tasks just fine though, while re-encoding. YMMV.
    Pull! Bang! Darn!
