    i copy with dvd fab and my old copies of a dvd i want to copy to my hard disk, some the dvd fab is taking them , others not. what can be the reason??

    Your copies that you are now trying to put on your hard drive are not copy protected. Just create a new folder on your hard drive with the movie name....then drag the VIDEO_TS folder to the new hard drive folder.
    If that does not work then the data on the disc(copy) is corrupt.

    What error messages does it give ? You need to provide a lot more information that you have so far.

    You say that these are "old copies" - what does that mean ? Does it mean old discs, in which case it could be scratches or fingerprints causing problems.
    Or do you mean old copies of discs you made in the past, in which case poor quality media or storage could have resulted in data corruption and made them unreadable.

    Details will help a lot.
