Hey guys, i installed FAVC 1.07 x64 on win 7 and have avisynth 2.58 and cccp installed. when i convert avi files everything works out. but when i have an mkv file that has .srt in the container things don't go as planned. so say my mkv source is 1280x720 and has subtitles already, i extract .srt with mkvextractgui and save the file under ANSI encoding (since from what i've read on this forum, FAVC doesn't register UTF-8) and under the dvd options where i input subtitle files i add the .srt with ANSI encoding, without having the "Hard Subtitles" box checked. I use the QuEnc set at the "Quality preset" and change the number of cpu cores to 4 since i have a quad core. When the dvd is finished generating, and when played, the video is hardsubbed with a soft subs option. If turned on they will overlap the hardsubs. How do i make it so the subs arent hardsubbed? Thanks in advanced.

Im sure its hardcoded into the file as theres also a soft subs option. when enabled, it will overlap the hardcoded ones. But i think you might be right and it might have to do with vsfilter or somethin like that, since cccp has vsfilter on autoload, but if i uncheck that option in cccp settings, FAVC doesnt encode my files at all and get some kind of error. i tried lookin up the error but nothin really comes up. Is there some kind of script i can use to go about this in the advanced tab in FAVC?
