Hi. I have been using this prog fine but now I am getting problems. It seems to be when I join two AVIsd together with VirtualDub Mod and then put them through FAVC. It shows an unnaturally quick time for the conversion and then when it has finished there are only two Vob files in the video folder and it wont play. I am now doing a single AVI and that looks fine. Does FAVC not recognise joined files or something?

It's generally not a good idea to join two AVI files before encoding to MPEG. Can't you just add them both into FAVC instead? Did you try playing them back in a software player after joining? Also check them with Gspot 2.70 to see if there is anything odd with them.

If these were DL'd files, the problem with many AVI files off the net is that they were improperly split and messed up by idiots in every which way possible. But good luck with your files. What it sounds like is corrupted files.

Thanks for the reply, I did play the joined AVI in a software player and it was fine. Also when I use ConvertXtoDVD it converts fine? So it seems its the FAVC that doesn't like something.
