I just encoded some test video to dvd with The Film Machine using HCenc, and Convertxtodvd with 2pass Lanczos filter.
What can I use to play these back side by side to compare?
Thanks.
edit: At exactly the same time. So no stupid answers, like "play the dvd in two separate instances with your video player". Or "Take screenshots".
I'd like to do this to not only compare quality, but sync and smoothness of video.

OK, so I can apparently use an AviSynth script in VirtualDub or MPC (HC)
Code:a=AVISource("pathtoclip1") b=AVISource("pathtoclip2") StackHorizontal(A,b)
Because the paths "C:\test1\VIDEO_TS" or "C:\test1\VIDEO_TS\VTS_01_1.vob" do not work.
I think an answers may be here:
http://nickyguides.digital-digest.com/synth-vdub.htm
but I don't have the time until tomorrow to check it out.
Surely there is a simpler way. I.e a tool that opens up 2 individual videos (DVDS)?
