Comparing Encodes - Playing Two Side By Side?

I just encoded some test video to dvd with The Film Machine using HCenc, and Convertxtodvd with 2pass Lanczos filter.

What can I use to play these back side by side to compare?

edit: At exactly the same time. So no stupid answers, like "play the dvd in two separate instances with your video player". Or "Take screenshots".
I'd like to do this to not only compare quality, but sync and smoothness of video.

Look at Avisynth command stackhorizontal(a,b)

OK, so I can apparently use an AviSynth script in VirtualDub or MPC (HC)

a=AVISource("pathtoclip1")
b=AVISource("pathtoclip2")
StackHorizontal(A,b)

But what file patch and code do I use for a DVD (VIDEO_TS) folder?

Because the paths "C:\test1\VIDEO_TS" or "C:\test1\VIDEO_TS\VTS_01_1.vob" do not work.

Surely there is a simpler way. I.e a tool that opens up 2 individual videos (DVDS)?
