Xvid4PSP not encoding

Hey guys, exactly what the title says. When I press the encode button, all it does is show me some log and a window named "Encoder". I am not seeing anything that might indicate that progress is being made or not even the progress bars moving. I'm trying to convert an .mkv file to mp4 and i'm running Win7 professional 64 bit. I tried this on two of my computers and it won't work.
