I apologize if this has been covered but I've only seen the Xbox drive mentioned from 2 year old posts. Does something like this exist? OR.. is there a way to get my computer to see my Samsung player-it has an ethernet connection (as yet unconnected)- in order to stream the video to save? It also has HDMI, as does the laptop. I suppose the laptop is just an output, but I don't know.
I know my player will die someday and I would really like to save this stuff instead of buying it again.
Not worried about the software, just need a way to get it in![]()

OK, I think I can grab an XBox drive for less than $30. Should I grab it and buy a Blu-ray player separately? Or is there one drive for all?
