Big Problem

alright, well i have a dvd recorder and i just figured out how to get my videos off of my finalized disk onto my computer, i use the dvd ripping software called "aoa dvd ripper", and well i found out that the disk has to be finalized to get it on the computer, and i was whondering if there was a different way to go about this so i didnt have to waste a whole 30 min disk on one 5 minute video, and so i dont have to finalize the disk. any help would be really appreciated. thanks

Use DVD RW discs instead

You have to finalize it for any other machine to be able to read it. Once you're done, just reformat and rewrite.

and its also for a camcorder, it takes those small discs, the handycam ones

You might also try changing the subject of the thread to something more meaningful and accurate. If you think you have a big problem now, you have no idea what you are in for.

DVD+RW doesn't have to be finalized. DVD-RW does.
