I have just received and installed a blackmagic intensity pro card. I downloaded the latest drivers and i set it up within the control panel and within the media express preferences. I then hooked up my xbox 360 and my TV to the INTENSITY pro into the respective HDMI ports and i cant see any video either on the TV or on my computer... it just produces a black screen. I then checked the settings on my XBOX 360 and it is set at 720p... i followed up by switching the XBOX 360 cables to the component RCA and tested both at 720p and 480p and i still cannot get any kind of input/output

Go to the blackmagic control panel and set the input/output accordingly.

Then check if its the 3.5.1 drivers you are using. I downloaded those a few days ago and nothing worked at all. Black screen both ways. I had to go to the archive on the blackmagic site and go back to 3.4 drivers for it to work right.

now im wondering if i should be concerned about the output? will there be a long lag that i should be aware about if im filtering my xbox through the card? should i invest in a powered HDMI spliter?

No lag. or there shouldn't be any I mean. I use the Intensity Pro for 360 as do many.
