mustek dvdv520 and mini DVD

I Justo bhought this player that was mantioned to be able to read mini dvd.

I have authored the minidvd with ulead movie factory but when I put the cd on the player start to load adn then says: NO DISC.

How can it be !!

I don't have the 520 but the mustek 560 and i have noticed the you have to have a certin amount of time on the disc to get it to work.

If I try to burn a short clip, say 15s it will not work, but if i repeat the same clip over and over again so it is about 2min of clips on the disc it will work.

So if you tried to burn a short clip make copys of it so you get about 2min or more on the disc. It may work.

carlopiras, is your Mustek a newer one with Winbond chipset instead of
ESS chipset. You will know depending on which region code you use -
if you use the Vol+/- code then you have Winbond - if you use
the NEXT,STOP,... code then you have ESS.

The Winbond ones apparently will NOT play miniDVD and say 'NO DISC'
plus there is no 'file mode'.
If you have ESS then it should work.

If you have Winbond, try an XSVCD with resolution 720x576 and bitrate
up to 7000. This works on my Winbond Mustek 560 (badged Voxson 320)
