hi
how can i take sections of MP4 file from camera
that is already coming compressed
and cut sections in direct stream copy or something which doing it fast such as doing in VD in avi files?

It works similar to vdub:
1) mark in/mark out to cut to the section you want to keep. It's not frame accurate, so your final navigation point has to be on a keyframe (use << and >> buttons) , use A/B for the mark in / out points
2) set video=> copy , audio=> copy, format=> mp4
3) press save & enter extension (e.g. "myvideo.mp4") -

i did it
and went to save - save video - gave it a name and press ok
and i had error

I get the same often with files from a GoPro HD camera. Go to Edit --> reset edits and try marking the points again. If it still gives you grief try closing the application and launching it again.
