I am new to this and I think I posted before, but I can not see my post.

Anyways, I am trying to join 2 AVI files using the program AVI/MPEG/WMV Joiner and I get the following error:

The audio streams have different sampling rates (15848 vs 15836) which may cause errors while merging! Do you want to continue?

And of course the program will not run and JOIN both AVI into 1 AVI.

If the audio bitrates are the only issue try recoding the audio using virtualdub, set the video to "direct stream copy" and audio to "full processing mode" then under audio click "conversion" and set to "16000" or some like that. Then save the file, once done try merging them again.

I do not have the original AVI file. Both these files are downloaded and have different audio streams.

So, is there some kind of program that will fix this?
