  1. Ok, i have a problem i want to split a video file into segment of 3 second exacly (not an average, or sometime 2 sec, sometime 4 sec, sometime 10 sec.) I've tried a lot of splitter and everyone split into variable part or part of 10 sec (virtualdub).
How can i make exact part of 3 sec.
    Thanks

You could do it with Virtualdub, if you knew how to use it. Same with AVI Demux. Enable smart-rendering in Virtualdub instead of just trying to direct stream copy the chunks and you can cut where you like. If you just use direct stream copy you can only cut on i-frames, which can be 300 frames apart (around 10 seconds). Xilisoft probably worked because it re-encodes everything anyway

    Virtualdub is the easiest way.
