on my PC, so I can view it with subs, like a DVD in powerDVD?

The old POwerDVD 7 could play Blu-ray from the hard drive but newer version wont. Try instead TotalMedia Theatre.

I think all you need to do is convert the Blu ray files to iso w/ imgburn to play them w/ subs like PDVD

Your post sounded like you already had PDVD, and the programs you need to make and play isos (imgburn and VCD) are free
