Hello Currently I ragarde to buy a BluRay DVD player.
Here are my criteria ... I want an all in one!
Blu-Ray Player, MKV, Divx, Divx HD ... Xvid ...
Lan (Wi-Fi can be but not required)
Important: I should be able to plug an external hard drive via the USB port, it must be formatted in NTFS (otherwise, no use for MKV because of the limitation of FAT32). I'd used a 2.5 inch harddisk without external power, only via USB.
Who can advise me?
thank you

Do you care about region free playback? If you don't know what that means then you don't. But if you do care, you better say so now because we really don't want you to come back in a month crying about how your new player isn't region free and you can't make it region free. You'll get the standard "Should have checked before you bought it" answer in that case.
Asking for unpowered external hard disk support may be a deal breaker. They only chance you have of it working is if you have a small form factor disk drive. You're always better off with powered drives.
It might be good to know what country you live in as recommendations for Australia aren't going to be very useful to you if you live in Canada, for example. -

This would meet your needs, but it's a bit of overkill on the price.

You will have to buy a 3rd party module to install yourself to make it region free. Or you can buy one from a reseller such as on Amazon who has already installed the module for you.
If price is a killer, Insignia makes some cheap models that are reported to be able to be made region free, but they don't support very many formats at all. Momitsu used to make more affordable region free BluRay players but they have abandoned the North American marketplace. There may be 1 or 2 other players that are sold in North America than can be made region free. Maybe others can post. Definitely do NOT buy Sony or Samsung or you can kiss region free goodbye, although they may do the other things you want.
