Hi, hope someone may be able to help me out here

I have an AVI that I am trying to convert to DVD but getting problems with the sound. Usually I dont have a problem but this one is a bugger. I am using ConvertX to DVD3.

The AVI is fine when played through media player, no sound issues but after converting i tested the DVD via PowerDVD 9 (direct from the Video_TS / Audio_TS folders) and the sound has a wierd popping noise included. I checked out the codecs using G Spot and found that I was missing "ac3 (0x2000) Dolby Laboratories, Inc" so I installed "AC-3 ACM Codec" which Gspot now recognises but still no joy with the converting. Also tried Windows Moviemaker but ended up with no sound at all (did have sound at the testing stage though)

Any ideas what else I could try?

    Cheers
