Hidparse.sys is a Windows OS driver for USB. You might have a problem with your USB devices if you see that exact error.

There should be no guessing here. That error message is important to helping you diagnose and fix your problem. The next time you get the blue screen error write down the error message and any files that are mentioned. For the above screen posted the error message was "IRQ_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL" and the file mentioned was "HIDPARSE.SYS".

After writing down the error message then google the exact message and any files mentioned.

If the blue screen error message is truly giving you that exact message then just google that message.

edit Nelson posted at the same time as me.

  8. The second line, or paragraph, the stop error, and any specific file names are the important part. Everything else is standard text which is always the same.

You do not GUESS, you write down these errors which offer real, useful information to diagnose and solve the problem.

Then you come back and post that here, along with other useful information such as age of laptop, how often the error occurs, and what you are doing with the PC when it happens. EXTREMELY IMPORTANT is any changes or updates made shortly before the problem began to occur.

This screen, also known as a BSOD or a Blue Screen of Death, appears because something has gone wrong on your computer. Could be a corrupted file, a hardware failure, or virus activity.

If your bluescreen is happening randomly and you have not written down the exact error message codes, try this utility and see if the bluescreen info. is still available.

Also, note your STOP code (ex. STOP: 0x0000008E). There are many web sites with troubleshooting information regarding these codes. Here is one of them.
