Hi,
I am using PowerDirector 7 and have a KWorld USB2800D, and am trying to capture Widescreen from my 360. Widescreen is selected on the 360, is selected under Edit > Aspect Ratio > 16:9 on PowerDirector and is selected on my capture profile (I have 1280x720 selected). However, everything I capture goes into 4:3 when I capture using MPEG2. If I capture using .avi, however, the video captures in Widescreen as it should. I would prefer to capture in MPEG2 though because the quality is much nicer.
What is the problem and how can I fix it? I'm pretty sure it is capturing 16:9 and it just squeezing it to 4:3... Is there anyway to stop it doing so or to stretch the captured video back to 16:9?
Thanks.

You can change the display aspect ratio in the mpg after you captured using for example dvdpatcher. The video is in 720x576 but will be stretched to 16:9 when you view it.
