hi, newbie on block, I want to convert a AVI or m4v file into an format that can be imported into iMovie / Premier etc.
I have tried MPEG Streamclip. And each time attempted to export as as DVI or QuickTime I get the audio but not the picture (AVI) screen is black. Both AVI and M4V movies files are fully intact.

Any suggestions please?
