After downloading the 2d part of LOTR in MPEG format, I played it on my PC; the video AND the audio sync was great; I then burned the Mpeg file with VCDEasy.
AFTER I burned the VCD, I played it on my Daewoo DVD player; the VIDEO is perfect, only a FEW dropped frames; BUT, AFTER each time a frame drop, or a slight pixilation occurs - the AUDIO is SLIGHTLY out of sync UNTIL the NEXT frame drop, or pixilation incident; THEN the audio comes BACK into sync. This happens a few times throughout the length of the 2d part of LOTR.
Umm.. it's irritating..
What is going on here ? Is there anything that can be done to resolve this problem ?
Thanks,
GreatSinatraFan

hate to tell you I have been searching to find a DVD palyer that does no have Audio sync problems with internet Movies, here what I have came up with.
Stay away from the cheap dvd player like, APEX, SAMPO amd Daewoo
Toshiba, JV and Pansonic plays they back without a hitch of problem, but none of these players will play back SVCD either, so there is a trade off no matter what you do, My solution.
Bought Daewoo 5700 - $99
and Panasonic RA60k - $199
Now I can do it all, by the way on the Daewoo 5700 I have actually burned a Non- compliant SVCD at
704x480 at 6000 bitrate (required for DVD-R ) and you know what the darn thing played the SVCD perfect, without any resolution or picture loss from the original.
