    I have a Canon AVCHD HF10 camcorder and a Creative VadoHD.

    Is there any editor that is compatible with both of them?

    Another question... I read that iMovie is very easy to use to create nice effects fast. Anything similar for windows?

    anything that handles h264 and avchd
    if you're liking imovie, I think you better start with a entry level editor...

    Just be aware iMovie will reduce AVCHD resolution to quarter size, half speed 960x540p. You can cap to 1440x1080i or 1920x1080i to the AIC but you need Final Cut Express or above to edit those resolutions.
