I've got a Sony TRV-19e camcorder
I've got a Technica Wireless Lapel Mic system
I want to record video and have the sound be recorded from the lapel mic
Problem: the mic system has a 6.35mm jack and the camcorder has got a 3.5mm jack
Solution: get an adapter
Problem: got adapter, but it's tooo thick!
I can get it in, but its a really tight squeeze + doesn't fully go in
I've looked around and can't find any adapters that have a thin end suitable for my needs
Can someone suggest anything?
Thanks
OM

ok... i think i've found my solution
get an extension for the 3.5mm jack
i;ve looked on ebay and for the same price, i can get a 1m cable or a 5m cable
logic says: get the 5m cable!
but: would there be any harm in getting the 5m cable?
i.e. there would be a loss of sound quality because of the extra distance the data has to travel??
any replies to the above would be great
thanks
