    hello , I am Encoding from avi to mp4 using megui , must of the time the video 640×272 , but i want the video full screen , like the movies we watch in TV ,

    how i can do that with megui ?

    You will either have to live with the black bars on top and bottom, or crop off some of the sides (I guess that you could also stretch it by de-selecting "maintain aspect ratio")

    sorry i did not understand , where i can find the aspect ratio in megui ? and you want me to choice 4:3 ?

    Full screen on what? You didn't state which TV you have or the TV's aspect ratio.

    Also note that regardless of the type of TV (4:3 or 16:9), not all video will playback full screen, at least not if you want to see all of the video in the way it was recorded. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aspect_ratio_(image)

    If you insist on making the image fill the screen, you have two options. You either have to stretch the image (most current TV's can zoom or stretch) to fill the screen which causes distortion. Or you can alter the video by cropping the sides or top depending on the resolution you are attempting to achieve.
