Nero don't like SVCD encoded with Ligos plug-in

Hi guys,

I'm trying to encode with the Ligos plug-in for Premiere and then burn with Nero to SVCD. I'm selecting in both programs the supplied profile/settings for SVCD. My problem is Nero complains the "stream encoding is invalid for (Super)VideoCD". I have tried both CBR and VBR, in both cases with a bitrate around the 2000 kbps. Any ideas what can be wrong?

Note: I tried turning off the standard compliance check and burning the CD anyway but it would indeed not work in my standalone player. By the way, I'm sure this standalone player does play SVCD.

Hi Guys,

Found a workaround! It seems to be the case that the Plug-in looses the settings when you do it via the menu Project -> Settings Viewer -> Export Settings and then File -> Export Timeline -> Video. It will work OK though if you set it up using Settings button on the Save As dialog that appears in File -> Export Timeline -> Video instead. :oops:
