I've got the .mdf and .mds files of a PS2 title, and I'm having trouble burning them back to disc. I've renamed to .iso the file (***.mdf) and successfully mounted the image - it shows folders, etc. When I tried to burn using disc utility, it fails to verify the disc after burning (but seems to go alright before that). I tried burning the .iso with "Burn" and no success either. Incidentally, Disc Utility is unable to verify the disc (no checksum information apparently). The info on burning/converting files on osx is really confusing online (!).
1. I'm using imation 4.7GB DVD-R 8x discs. Are they alright? (wasted three already)
2. Is there a way to burn this with software I already own? or is free? without buying a program like Toast?
If this is not a relevant forum, can anyone point me to a mas os games related forum?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
