I heard some comments about not loading both of these programs since they might interfere with each other. I use Easy CD for photo album so I woud like to keep that part. Whats the scoop? I'm not sure I need Nero anyway since VCDEasy works good. Why do I need Nero anyway?![]()
Any thoughts?

Yes and no...lol
You can load nero (ver 5.5 and up) onto a system with easycd creator and it will work just fine, you cannot load incd (nero's packet writing software) if you have direct cd on your system, thats not a problem since you only need one or the other anyway. In answer to if you need it or not, if you use easyvcd as your video burner and are happy with it then probly not, but compared to easycd it is no contest, nero can overburn, easycd cannot, nero can do svcd's, easycd cannot, nero always creates usuable vcd's, easycd does not, these are comparasions on only video burning there are other advantages to using nero in just about every burning application. So it's up to you. -
I have had nothing but trouble with the Roxio Ver 5. I would stick with Nero and drop Roxio espeically if you are running XP.

I run both on windows 98 second edition. There was a conflict when the machine booted up. When i booted up completely, I went into find and deleted a file cdrpwd.vxd it works fine now. Dont need both , just have them.
