Unable to change the project default setting from loop to PAL........any suggestions would be welcome

Probably you have opened a project file and tried to change these settings 'afterwards'. As these settings concern the initializations of menus, movies... they cannot be changed when anything is already inside the project (film, menu, images...).

Try to change these settings BEFORE you do anything else (load a project, add a movie/menu...)

Thanks for your help. I eventually reinstalled the program and started from scratch. But I have an addition problem....see GUI DVD author : Show DVD problem
