I have used Dr. Divx OSS 2.0.1 (beta 7) to convert many files to "divx certified" "home theater profile" AVIs. It will accept MKVs with x264 video, whereas Divx's own Divx Converter will not. However I have three files which will cause Dr. Divx to crash immediately if I try to convert them using Dr. Divx. The MediaInfo details on the files are at the end of this email.

    Q. Can anyone see something in the file details below which explains why these particular files are toxic to Dr. Divx?

    Q. Can anyone recommend a different tool to convert to an AVI containing Divx which will play on an Divx Ultra Certified player (in this case, a Philips DVP-5982).
