I am using ConvertXtoDVD to convert an MKV to DVD. All my settings are good in ConvertX, the encoding works good, but all my subtitles are cut about halfway off and sometimes they run off the screen. I have tried multiple settings for the video resize method. I have used automatic for the best crop and I have tried letter box and they all seem to do the same thing. I am assuming that this is an issue with MKV files because this has happened to multiple files. Help would be a appreciated. Thank you.

    Hi there.

Though I have never used ConvertXto DVD, I guess the MKV file
has SSA subtitles designed to work in Hi-Def resolution (greater than D1),
and the application is not modifying the SSA header and the Style
    font-size accordingly.

I think you are exactly right. The files were Hi Def. Can I assume that there is no way around this?

You should extract the SSA subtitle from the MKV file with
MKVtoolnix or AVI-Mux GUI, then edit the subtitles with [s:baace227ad]Aegisub[/s:baace227ad] SubStation Alpha.

    [EDIT]

P.S.: You might as well use Wordpad, Notepad, EmEditor, etc.,
if you take the time to learn the SSA specifications

I have just checked, the latest version of Aegisub is 24MB big
    WTF
