    http://www.capturix.com/manuals/videocapturix/index.htm

It is basically just an on line manual, but it covers all the functions.
    Read my blog here.

Thanks for that. I will read it tonight.

The first thing I want to do, is to capture old video footage that was taken from 8mm film. (I still have the VHS C cassettes) (Those 8 mm films I don't have anymore). I will connect the camera it to a TV card, play and then capture those on 15/16 fps and then see if I can change it to PAL speed.
After that I will play a bit with the Virtualdub filters. (I used the deflickering filter in the past- did not work too well)

Thanks for any advice, and possibly help with the settings.

I read the instructions on that site- thanks for that, but it does not contain enough information. I still have a few questions:

    1. As I stated before, I used a VHS C camcorder and still has it. I captured old 8mm films with that camera, but they came out all flickering. I do not have those films anymore. I used Virtualdub to improve the quality, but no major luck.

    a. I now want to do the following: Play those VHS C cassettes (I will temporarily install a TV card). The speed on PAL will therefore be 25 fps. I want to capture on 15/16 fps on Capturix, because my feeling is the flickering will then be gone. I am actually totally unsure about all the settings on Video Capturix, because I now will be capturing on 15 fps,but I want the AVI to play 25 fps.
Having said all that, please help me with my set-up from camcorder to PC to the settings on your programme. After I have a decent AVI, I will do some sharpening, etc with Virtualdub.

    b. I do have some other 8mm/super 8mm films that I want to put on to DVD. I will capture them using my “black box with a white screen” . If I set my relatively new Panasonic 3CCD GS 250 camcorder up, and videotape the films, can I capture it at say 15 fps on Capturix and will it play at 25 fps? Will the flickering then be gone?

    2. I read through the user manual, but would like to know if there is a decent manual/tutorial available on the Internet. I did not get enough information from the manual as it is, especially for the reason that I bought the programme.
