  1. About a month ago, I upgraded to Windows XP. When I try to use my Television program that came with my ATI All in Wonder 128 card, it says that it cannot locate the correct drivers or something. I downloaded the display drivers and that did not solve the problem. It seems to me that ATI is not offering any drivers for XP for any version of MMC. SO, I downloaded the new version of MMC, and I tried to install it. The problem is that it wants me to uninstall my previous vision of MMC. Fine, BUT, when I try to uninstall it, it says:

"Unable to locate the installation log file 'C:\Program Files\ATI Multimedia\Uninst.isu’ Uninstallation will not continue."

Is there any way to fix this problem? And one more thing, how will MMC perform for capturing under XP. I haven't been able to try it out. Thanks.

OK you need to follow the guide in how to capture with the ATI AIW.
It will show you how to install thing right. ATI has drivers for XP. I use MMC 7.5. I have the ATI AIW 128 pro AGP 32meg with XP. I can capture
just fine. You will also might want to disable the macrovision on the AIW too.

Look for capturing avi with ATI all in wonder

  4. these steps came directly from Ati (hope it's help )

In regards to the installation/configuration of the All in Wonder Radeon.

First you should download and install the latest VIA 4in1 drivers for your motherboard. These are available from the URL below. Download the version 4.33 FINAL.

I have included instructions below for you to properly remove and reinstall the ATI software and drivers. I would suggest using the latest ATI software available from the ATI web site. You can download the latest drivers, Multimedia Center 7.1 and DVD 4.1. You will also need to install the Video Capture Update for DirectX. This is available from the second URL.
